The case combines aluminum magnesium alloy, reinforced glass, composite materials, stainless steel and silicone. The three-layer splicing structure is what gives it depth instead of a single flat face.
Overall it is slightly larger than the factory key case. That is deliberate: it makes the key easier to grip and to find in a pocket.
Signal and Remote Range
Wrapping a key fob in metal is a good way to kill its remote range. This case solves that with a side metal incision combined with composite materials, which addresses signal emission and electrostatic shielding.
The remote works. That sounds obvious, but a metal key case is exactly where it goes wrong, so it is worth checking before you buy one.
CNC Tolerance, Reinforced Glass, Water and Dust
The case is made with CNC machining, which holds the part error inside a very small range. Reinforced glass shows the internal structure and creates a transparent accent on the body.
