Model-Specific Fitment
This is the part people get wrong. The 392 JL, the Gladiator JT Mojave and the JT Sand Runner use a different A-pillar than the base JL, so a standard bracket will not seat correctly.
This mount is designed around those contours. It bolts on with no drilling and no body modification, and the fit is flush rather than shimmed.
Quick-Release Lower Row, Sliding Upper Row
The bracket is a dual-level design. The lower light position has a quick-release mechanism, so you can pull the lower lights for daily commuting and keep the truck clean, then put them back for a night run.
The top level has a dual-direction sliding rail. You can raise or lower the lights and set the angle precisely, and the adjustment holds under load.
Light Position and Glare
Raising auxiliary lights to the right height and angle is the whole reason to run an A-pillar mount. Set properly, it reduces hood glare while still throwing usable light down the trail.
The bracket also carries a built-in action camera mount on the top level, and every contact point with the body is polished and calculated so the mount sits tight. That is what keeps it from developing a rattle over the long term.
