The Bronco roof is a good load surface with nothing on it. The OMU Genesis Series Roof Luggage Rack and Side Ladder adds the frame and the way up: two longitudinal rails, six crossbars, four CNC-machined corner joints and four mounting brackets, all in aluminum.
It is a two-part system. The rack carries, the ladder gets you to it without standing on a door sill.

All-Aluminum Frame
The rack is built from full aluminum alloy throughout: two longitudinal rails, six crossbars, four corner joints and four mounting brackets. The main frame runs 40mm and the crossbars are 30mm.
Aluminum keeps the weight off the roof, which matters more than it sounds. Roof capacity is only useful if the rack itself is not eating most of it.
CNC Joints for Even Load
The four corner joints and four mounting brackets are CNC machined. On a roof rack, even load distribution is the difference between a frame that stays square and one that deforms and works loose.
The surface is treated with oxidation and then a coating, which gives corrosion resistance and scratch protection.
Wind Deflector and Expansion Slots
A wind deflector is built into the front of the rack to manage airflow at speed. That reduces wind noise and improves fuel economy on long drives.
Every crossbar has integrated expansion slots, so auxiliary lights, toolboxes and roof tents go on without a separate mounting kit.
The Side Ladder
The ladder uses a modular military-inspired construction with the same angular language as the rack, so the two read as one system rather than two parts.
Like the rack, the ladder goes through dual anodizing and powder-coating treatment for corrosion and scratch resistance. It mounts to the side of the Bronco and gives you a deliberate way up to the load surface.
