A Defender's door handle is the part you touch more than any other. It is also, on the factory truck, plastic. The OMU Genesis Series Door Handle Kit replaces that touchpoint with twill dry carbon fiber and an aluminum core, shaped from OEM 3D scan data so it lands where the original handle sat.
There is no drilling and no trimming. The kit uses the factory mounting points, which makes the swap reversible if you ever want to go back to stock.

Carbon Surface, Aluminum Backbone
The visible face is twill dry carbon fiber. The load-bearing points underneath are reinforced with embedded aluminum alloy, because a door handle takes a pull every time someone gets in.
Carbon keeps the weight down and gives the surface a warm, textured feel. The aluminum does the structural work. A mirror-polished metal emblem sits against the matte weave and picks up light as the door swings — visible when the angle is right, subtle when it is not.
Matte Finish, Built for Daily Use
The matte coating resists fingerprints and light scratches, which matters on a part that gets grabbed with muddy or gloved hands. The black-on-black finish lines up with the Defender's factory dark trim rather than fighting it.
The surface is shaped so the weave shows differently depending on how the light hits it. That is a finish detail, not a performance claim — but it is the reason the parts do not look like a sticker laid over a handle.
Fit Comes From Scan Data
The contours were developed against OEM 3D scanning data and checked curve by curve against the original handle profile. The result is a cover that sits flush on the body panel with no gap and no added bulk.
All three Defender body lengths use the same handle, so 90, 110 and 130 owners are ordering the same kit.
Installation
This is a direct bolt-on replacement, not an overlay. Factory mounting points are reused, so no drilling, cutting or adhesive is involved, and the original handles can go back on later.
Basic hand tools are enough. A trim tool helps for pulling the factory parts, but nothing here needs a workshop visit.
