This is the JK version of our mirror rain guard, and it is deliberately different from the JL part. The JK guard is CNC-machined aluminum with no carbon fiber accents, in a pure mechanical finish.
It also adds something the base design does not: a dedicated rear mounting system for extra stability, plus a built-in GoPro base.

Machined Aluminum, No Carbon Trim
The guard is formed from high-strength aluminum, which keeps it light while standing up to the things that hit a side mirror on a trail: flying gravel and brush.
Unlike our JL version, the JK part omits carbon fiber accents on purpose. The surface gets a high-temperature powder coat with a fine metallic texture, which suits the JK's bolder styling better than a mixed-material look.
Reinforced Mounting
The structure is reinforced and uses a dedicated rear mounting system. That is what keeps the guard stable in rough conditions.
The practical payoff is less wind noise and vibration at speed while still deflecting rain and mud. A guard that shakes on the highway is worse than no guard.
Integrated GoPro Base
There is a built-in GoPro-compatible base and a mounting bracket in the kit, so no extra parts are needed to start filming.
Mirror height is a good camera position. It sits low enough to catch wheel-to-ground movement and side angles while staying clear of roof-mounted gear.
Installation
The guard installs without drilling. Follow the supplied instructions and the job takes minutes rather than hours.
Before ordering, confirm you are on a JK. The JL and JT use a different mirror housing and need a different guard.
