The factory JL and JT shift knob is a smooth shape that you grip without thinking about it. The OMU Genesis Series Gear Lever is built with a slightly larger body, a taller stance and a bigger shift button, which changes how the lever sits in your hand.

Aluminum Body, CNC Machined
The lever is aluminum alloy, machined with CNC and given an oxidation treatment. That produces a hard surface with the metallic texture of machined metal rather than a painted plastic feel.
Carbon fiber elements are worked into the assembly, which is where the visual contrast comes from. The titanium black color scheme is a deliberate match for the Wrangler and Gladiator interiors.
Sized for a Hand
Three dimensions changed relative to the factory lever: the body is slightly larger and thicker, the shift button is larger, and the lever sits slightly taller. That combination is what makes it easier to grab and operate without looking down.
Every edge the driver's hand touches in normal driving has been rounded.
Spliced Design and Embossed Emblem
The exterior does not try to be smooth everywhere. It uses a spliced, mechanical line pattern that breaks the surface into planes, which is what gives it the tension and grip.
The OMU emblem is embossed into the surface rather than printed or glued, so it does not wear off.
Installation
The lever matches the original gear lever hole position. There is no cutting, no adapter stack and no special tool — it goes on in place of the factory knob.
Budget a few minutes. The only real care needed is keeping the factory ball and threading clean when you pull the original off.
